Wicked, but saints
I got a luvely parcel in the mail today...a whole bunch of albums from Wicked Tinkers, http://www.wickedtinkers.com/
they heard I was into celtic radio and sent some CD's to play on air. Look out Tasmania, you are about to be treated to Wicked tinkers!!
It's great to see a band promote the kilt onstage too (like Clann an Drumma).
Long live the pipes!!

That Warren's one heck of a guy, ain't he?
Those are the CD's that I love to BLAST while I'm driving around in areas that are far from Celtic (ie West Philadelphia). They never fail to get stares!!!
For those in the USA (especially on the West Coast) you will NOT want to miss seeing these guys. The Cd's just don't do justice to what they do LIVE.

I saw them in person once at a Highland Games in Boise. They were great, until they answered the age old question with their dancing finale.

Ooops, they need to be told that when dancing, regimental is not the best!

Yep. They did that again a couple of months ago when there were back in Boise. I thought my pregnant sister was going to go into labor at the site!
I'm lucky that they allowed me to film their last performance of the day. One of these days, I'll get off my lazy butt and make a DVD for myself from the footage.
