OK, I'm a kiltaholic
I've been wondering (I did check FAQ and used the search feature to hopefully avoid any redundancy), why is highland wear so "addicting"? My name is lukeyrobertson, and I... I... OK..., I'm a kiltaholic. There. I've said it. I find myself fixed on tartans, wool, colour, texture, tweed and inbetweed, leathers, and the art of highland wear and dress. I can hardly go a day without an Xmarks fix. And by paying attention to the many exchanges, it appears that either can many of you! So, what is it? Why is it so strangely alluring and so generative? What lies at the heart of it all? I find so much joy in being kilted and when somebody asks about my kilt, well... I can hardly shut up about the mill, the tartan, the wool, the colour, the history, the tradition.... Please have at 'er guys.
