It's one of those horrible dilemmas that perhaps the couple should have been more sensitive about when deciding upon their wedding venue. It's not a state occasion and she is not officially royal but although it's a "private" occasion it will be attended by public figures who require a degree of guarding and protection.
But why it should require as much police participation as the Pope's visit is beyond me.
