I've sold L&M's Canadian beaver sporran before (yes, we have some Canadians down here in NC), and so I've seen it (and felt it) in person. You will not be dissapointed if you choose that one. I beleive my exact thoughts were, "Gee, I'd get this in a heartbeat if I were Canadian!"

It is a dressier sporran, and if you are looking for something that you can get by with more casually, may I humly suggest one of the beaver sporrans from our Ferguson-Britt line?

I have the Glengyle beaver model myself (read a review and see pics on my blog) and enjoy it for both formal and casual wear. I think the all leather cantle makes this one work for more casual occasions. In fact, I wore it today with my Mull tartan kilt, white golf shirt, and lovat blue hose.

And, just to close, people really like to pet beaver fur. ;-)

    Aye,
    Matt
