Right. I don't see the point in wearing a tartan that one is not related to by family or by district or occupation. What is the point? Wearing groovy colors?
To me it is like one's name. Would you start using another one only because you found it more aesthetically appealing than your own? For me wearing some one else's tartan would be like flying false colors, pretending to be something or some one I am not.
