guess it depends on how much stuff you have, but rather than trying to find homes in my already minimal clothing storage space for all the sporrans, kilt hose and flashes, big belts, kilt pins and blades etc... I got a set of these storage deals on sale from Target;

As to the storage of fur sporrans, storing leather and fur stuff in plastic bags is usually not recommended, something breathable is better. They sell cloth "purse bags" for this, but an old cotton pillowcase will do the trick.
