LLast year for our anniversary, and while I happened to be out of the country playing kilted golf in Scotland, my loving wife (not kilt-loving, but loving all the same) turned the closet of our least used guest bedroom into a special cedar lined storage space dedicated to my kilts, plus other woolens in the off-season. 6 months after moving into the space with my kilts and kit I discovered moths in the closet in significant numbers so I researched treatment and prevention and storage options and went whole hog on preservation and organization. The whole story, along with pics of the closet can be seen in the following thread:

My kilts and jackets/waistcoats are all in breathable hanging bags, sporrans and bonnets in various sized plastic containers, and hose in a couple drawers, with everything heavily invested with cedar strip liners, cedar balls, etc... I need to get a few more of the bags and containers due to some recent acquisitions.

But I can honestly say I have not seen a single moth since my infestation and eradication project nearly 6 months ago, and the closet organization does make things a bit easier to store and find when needed.
