I remeber the early 90's grunge era "kilts are edgy" trend. I went to a Guns-n-Roses concert in high school and Axl Rose was wearing a kilt and Docs.
...and his kilt was too long by XMTS standards, but it looked good on stage. Didn't Madonna wear a long kilted skirt on one of her tours?
