    This would of course depend on how things developed in each country. For us in the US, if hyperinflation happened in the UK, but not so much in the US, then the relative price of a kilt would drop due to exchange rates.
    This is what I was thinking. There could be a very narrow 'window of opportunity' where we in the US could take advantage of wild exchange rate swings, and be able to pull the trigger on a fine kilt at very reasonable prices. I would guess that this window would only be open for a day, at best.

    But really, folks, it's not like kilts are something we need to "stock up on". If you have a good kilt, it should last for generations, right? No need to fill up a closet with expensive kilts, waiting for the proverbial balloon to go up. That money is better spent on ammunition, gas masks*, duct tape, MREs, and liquor!

    *(Hmm... one wonders which gas mask model is best suited for daywear?)

    As with many aspects of THCD, I think we can turn to the Highland Regiments for inspiration. In regular times, we might need to adapt what we find to suit civilian tastes. In time of global financial meltdown, army surplus gear probably goes best with daywear
