    Re: Fitness Challenge!

Here's a fun one for you guys. Turns out I have a Beach Body cat! I got my Shakeology last week. Have been including it every day and all that but the thing that is funny is the cat loves Shakeology! I don't let him drink it or anything but he got hold of one of my glasses after I was finished and licked it like crazy! He had chocolate coloring all over his face. And the box the Shakeology came in? Now one of his favorite things to do is go nuts on a pingpong ball in that box like he's on a mission! And every time my wife does her 10 Minute Trainer he gets right up to the screen and jumps back and forth watching Tony Horton! He doesn't do that with ANY other show that comes on (including P-90X), but 10 Minute Trainer drives him crazy! Is that awesome or what? We almost get shamed into working out by our CAT'S motivation for Beach Body products!

So, it sounds awful. I love feeling like I'm starving and I'm already the worlds youngest curmudgeon!

Still, I'm intrigued. Might have to check it out as a good reset for my body. Thanks for posting your experience.

Kind of late to the thread, but I have been doing Insanity on and off since I steped on the scales on the day after Christmas. Down to 215, aiming for 175 as a final goal.

Oh, and this time NO pulled muscles!

I've been on a steady routine for awhile now, and have dropped to under 150 & <32"W. Most of my kilts no longer fit well! Gee golly gosh darn!!! I've done some kilted trail biking & hiking too. My avatar pic is from 2010 & 175#.

I seem to have stagnated as of late. I am steady at 215, a little over 20 lbs below where I started. Lately I've traded gym time for time on the trails, still better than sitting on the couch but not as productive. I'm starting to work on a new diet program with my wife so hoping that will help get me down to my goals. My main goal is to lose 2" more around the waist, and at that point I won't worry about the actual number on the scale.

Fitness Update. I am down to 10% body fat and still working hard. I hope to do you guys even prouder by the end of this round of P-90X in a month.

Warrior Dash NY update! Came in 8th in my age/gender group out of 893 and 31st out of almost 6,500 overall for Sunday. Sprained my ankle with 50 yards left to go and was so pumped I ran through it. I figured, "I worked hard for this, I will NOT slack off, especially when I can see the finish line!" Didn't even feel the pain until after the race and the adrenaline came down.

This was the Warrior Dash with a GIANT mountainside to climb and I worked really hard mountain running to get ready. I am 32 and the overall winner for the whole day was 39 and only beat me by 4 minutes. If I work harder for the next year I'll own that thing!
