Excellent overall look, good on you. No personal objections to white hose; they go good with white shirt or sweater, anyway. Great deerstalker, 'a fave here, too...tho uncommon.

James,
From my understanding deerstalker caps are Scottish through and through. They are splendid caps and it is a pity that they haven't been embraced the same way that tams and balmoral and glengarry bonnets have been with casual highland daywear. This particular one is Scottish made by Appin.
Sadly a vast majority of the people I bump into immediately think "Sherlock Holmes" when they see one.
sigh
Cheers
Jamie

Sorry Padre, I went out and hailed five Marys and the fifth one came over to talk and I've been too busy since...God I love kilting.

Re: Panache wears white hose!
Back to the Deerstalker, which thanks, Jamie, 'did not know the headgear was indeed Scottish (this one purchased when in London, quite a while ago)...
...if memory serves, Conan Doyle did not mention Holmes wearing one; the Deerstalker on Basil Rathbone was the movie studio's idea.
Any Sherlock fans available to help on this?

white hose contrasts well with our pasty, moon tan skins.
