I worry about the colors clashing. The bold red along with lovat green tweed. But I do love the looks of a lighter colored jacket. Just seems brighter and more fun. Not so serious. It's not a funeral, after all.
I should be fishing! The sun---yes sun---in Scotland!-----is too bright at the moment so time for an early lunch. Anyway, don't worry about that clashing and matching nonsense! Its normal for us and the "fun" bit is never a thought. Honestly it isn't! Its something that you chaps over there seem to obsess about and we over here don't. You may be interested to know, we would dress up to go to a funeral in the attire that you describe(often with a black drop down tie) in your first post too. It is the kilt suit equivalent after all.
