Yeah, thanks for the post. The second link looker really good. I have to try to find one from europe.

And sorry for everyone if I have been a little grumpy in posts today. Been a bad day. First I broke up with my girlfriend and then my car broke up... Had to walk home in the blizzard...

Ouch!... I'd be grumpy too if that happenned. I guess the lesson here is - never break up with your girl in bad weather if your car needs maintenance.

Anyway... I was wondering if there was a particular reason why you won't wear a bomber jacket? (Typically, that's the only style of jacket I wear with kilts in the winter.) She get's plenty cold here in Ontario as well!

    Just curious.

And good luck with your search.

My ex used to (well, I guess he still does) wear a winter coat that I think would be perfect for kilts. It was heavy navy wool, double-breasted, brass buttons, cut like a pea-coat, but cropped at the waist, with a waist band. Sort of like this, only better:

I've been looking, but I've never seen one for sale anywhere. I know that's not much help, but if anyone sees one, do give me a holler.

    Regards,
    Rex.
