Any tartan is OK..

I am thinking about sandcastles...
There is a cake pan 9.25" x 9.25' x 4" it's a castle, maybe use plaster paris or sand with corn starch and water mixture. Maybe even a clear resin with parade beads inside the castle.

Or make a rock with a minature claymore coming off of it.

Something with clan badges maybe

How about two desktop flags, the US and the Saltire? (Sort of like my avatar) We use that for our St. Andrew's Society's formal functions -- just make sure no one decides to take them home!
