Hello From St. Louis

I live off Woodson Road near Woofies. I typically work sleep and eat and am a "returning learner" (Older college student) but sometimes find myself at O'mally's Pub. Haven't seen many Kilts in these neck of the woods, Nice to see I am not alone.

Sounds like you don't live to far from where my wife works, She's in the doctors office there in the Overland Plaza next to Schnucks. Do you know of the National Tartan Day celebration over in St. Charles this coming april and we have the Scottish games in Forest Park in October..

Slight correction -- I just received word yesterday that the St. Louis games in October have been cancelled, more's the pity:

But, as CactusJack mentioned, there is always the Tartan Day festival in St. Charles. The Scottish St. Andrew's Society of Greater St. Louis also has quite a few kilties and kilted activities throughout the year. Their web site appears to be down at the moment.

Oh, and by the way -- welcome from SW Missouri, Springfield specifically!

Todd, Thanks for posting that, I am really sorry to here that news as I was really looking forward to going again this year. THe wife and I really had a great time there last year and finally getting to meet yiu was an honor.
Don't guess I will be seeing you at the Tartan Day festivities???
