    That stitching is there to keep the pleat from "poking" out from behind the bottom of the apron, I believe. What is that tartan? It's fantastic!

    Yeah, I like it too. It's an Irish Tartan; county Kildare. Both my mother's and father's families came from there. Although, like me, they were born in London.

    Unlike most Ozzies, I don't like beets on my burgers. Maybe that's because I'm really a Pom (=Limey). Jalapeņos on the other hand sounds like a great idea!

    I grew up in New Mexico and we eat roasted green chile (anaheims) on our burgers (and fries too, with a tad of cheese).
