When you navigate between buoys, you keep red on the right and green on the left. Oncoming ships will appear to have their red lantern on the right, and green on the left. Etc etc etc. Pleats in the rear and apron on the front.
What's this right and left stuff? I thought the red light went on the starboard side and the green on the port.

Now you put it even more complicated. But first the kilt must be put correct way (apron on front).

Why are you putting a kilt apron on the front of your boat?

Comes from the old memory gouge: "Right Returning Red." (You keep the red bouy to your right or starbord side when coming into the harbour. On the way out, it is green to green. The way to remember red or green is that "Red is like Port Wine and should be Left alone" There are lots more, but that would be hijacking the thread.

    Lighten up

    Just my two cents though.
Okay, some of you guys need to lighten up a little bit. A "weird idea?" If you haven't noticed;........wearing a kilt is not exactly the middle of the bell curve!

And of course there is the ever popular Emperor Tartan.
Made from Saran wrap (or cling film for those of you on the right side of the ocean.)

Guys, forget entering or leaving port. Look at the lights on the boat (or the wings of a plane for that matter) There is a Red navigation light on the left (port) side and a green one on the right (starboard) side.

And Corrigan is known in history as "Wrong-Way Corrigan". He flew his plane from the West Coast of the US to the East Coast. He was then supposed to return to the West Coast because he could not get permission to attempt to fly to Ireland. Well, Wrong Way went to Ireland any way and claimed for the rest of his life that it was a "Navigation" error.
