No worries. And I really like this tartan better than the modern. Only problem is now I also want one in the weathered tartan.

    nice one, socalferg!

from one fergus to another, what made you choose the ancient over the modern? i'm planning a substantial purchase and i'm leaning towards the modern? just wondering what your thought process was, or what it is about the ancient that made you pull the trigger?

    Irish,
Greetings. My personal choice related to Ferguson Modern vs Ancient, and for what was for me also a considerable financial outlay, was one I pondered for some time. I already had a ‘casual’ kilt in modern and when considering and investment in a quality kilt, the modern just struck me as to dark (color wise). If just felt the Ancient color scheme just stood out more effectively and ‘represented’ Ferguson a bit more boldly (my humble opinion).
    Hope this helps.

Nice kilt. The shirt and tankers make a great look.

Nice looking kilt! I especially love the blue in that tartan.

Everytime one of you knuckleheads posts your recent USA Kilt acquisition, it makes me realize that it's only been about five weeks since I ordered mine -- Macduff Red Modern. Rat bastages!

Sharp look. You appear born to the kilt. Do like kilts without sporrans in the way...don't overlook the vest in lieu of sporran option.

Guessing you're hooking up with the rabble in North County
