Now there is a blast from the past I haven't heard that name in years. I know I don't have any records of his anymore. Couldn't play them if I did. I suppose somebody has put his stuff up on U-Tube.

I remember when I was a wee lad growing up in the early 70's hearing his songs and watching reruns of his variety show. Although not originally by him, one of my favourites was "Two Little Boys". Later in the 80's a Punk / OI band by the name of Splodgenessabounds covered the song as well and it made it on the U.K.'s hit chart toppers. What's funny is about a year ago I found myself singing the song and took a wee walk down memory lane. I know I used to have a Rolf Harris record (can't find it though) and I have a copy of the Punk band doing their version of "Two Little Boys". It always nice to remember good times that have gone by.

Check out amazon.com - they have several of his albums on CD.

I just bought the Platinum Collection on amazon, missing the "Big Black Ball" and "Gosport Nancy" (ggod thing I didnīt know what thatīs about as a child...).
I had just recieved news that my very first friend died in Melbourne of AIDS a year ago (!) and this just set me back to the years I spent with him in the early 70īs. Rolf Harris is like a soundtrack to that time.
Now I have introduced my children ...
My favourite song was "Nic Teen and Al. K. Hall" but now I think "Sun arise" is one of his best!
