Is wearing two kilt pins OK?

I would say don't wear a kilt pin if you don't want or need to; they didn't before the Victorian era.

So do you think they had this same argument back then?

"Why Finn, you look quite silly wearing that shiny pewter thing on your kilt! Why on earth would you dare to wear such an atrocity when we have done well for so long without it?"

and Finn kindly replies "Because there are no rules, just conventions. I feel like changing things up a bit. Maybe it will become popular"

I think things change. Be bold and wear two if you'd like. maybe it'll catch on.
