I dislike sporrans because the bang on my front when I walk. In order to avoid this, I usually wear a vest with some pockets, or I wear a UK mocker with pockets.
My near hatred of "shower shoes" applies to wearing then with anything. I would rather get athlete's foot that wear them in a shower.

We must be built very differently. I can't wear kilt hose without them! Elastic just doesn't work for me.

I've heard far too many stories told of the ladies liking to pet the sporran to believe that ;P

Dislike on me:
1.) White Kilt Hose
2.) Jacobite Shirts - I find they do not sit properly on my fat body.
3.) Imitation "period" garb. Genuine made is O.K.

I'll never wear black kilt hose, they just don't seem right to me, I'd wear white before I'd wear the black ones. Also you'll probably never see me with jabbot cuffs, much to frilly for my taste, but they look great on some.

You might oft see me wearing crocs with my kilt when indoors and at home. Crocs are strictly indoor shoes. In our house we remove outdoor footwear at the front door to keep the dirt on the outside and the clean on the inside. Nothing worse than having to scrub patches of trodden in dog doodoo off the carpet.
Rather than pad about inside in bare or worse still, stockinged feet, we all wear Crocs, slippers or flippies. It's just our thing. Wouldn't dream of wearing them outside though. Smartly polished leather uppers, dark coloured cross trainers or chunky boots are de rigueur with a kilt. Plenty of options to suit all occasions there I think.
