The maker of these buckles and brooches lives in New Hampshire, I believe, but I cannot remember his name.
Sounds like a fine gift!

Good ideas all. I wasn't aware of his age and agree that although a nice gift, maybe not proper just yet. I will see what else I can come up with.
Thanks,
Mike

i felt the St Andrews figure with the cross is a fitting tribute for the X marks the scot members who have donated to the cause and with another member planning on giving the X marks the scot badge i thought it would be a nice combination

DFW CELTIC MUSICIANS & PERFORMERS!
We need your help with the kilting ceremony for SPC Boyd on Saturday, 11 July. (Downtown Fort Worth, Fox & Hound 5pm) Need a few celtic performers to honor us with their talents in a few short sets as part of the ceremony. We have one piper already, but could always use another, fiddlers, singers, dancers, percussionists, storytellers, etc. Need to be able to work acoustic. Please contact McMathTX - he agreed to be our entertainment coordinator.
Thanks in advance, ColMac

While canvassing other sites for musicians (no volunteers yet I'm afraid), I encountered a couple of Boyds, one of whom is an officer in the House of Boyd Society. She has a Clan Boyd T-shirt for the lad, but she is in North Carolina. I told her that if a local Boyd wanted to present it, that would be great, otherwise mail it to me and I'll see that they get credit for the gift.
