So new questions have been raised here and I will ask them and hope to get some arrows for my quiver from your responses.
When asked The Question, what do you say?
When 'checked' is it usually by the lifting or other ways?
When 'checked' what do you do, for those who have not already answered the question.
I had no idea this was such a big topic or not-so-unusual experience.
Thank you for all the insight so far.

2. Someone will add that they never go to places in a kilt when that's likely to happen.
3. A few people will say it's happened and felt violated.
4. Someone will remind you to search the archives.
5. Maybe someone will post a story about what a great time they had when it happened.
6. A discussion of men's rights involving analogies about sexual harassment will ensue. Someone will add it's not a game.
7. There will be a discussion of what's worn under the kilt in various circumstances.
8. Various hypothetical scenarios and aggressive reactions will be described.
9. Tempers will flare.
10. The mods will caution
11. Someone will complain about the mods
12. The thread will be shut down.
I'm not saying it's not worth discussing for those who are just now getting started with the kilting thing, but this can be a tricky subject.
Really, I think the thing that matters here is how do you think it should be handled? What did you do, and what would you have preferred to do, if you had thought of it.
Regards,
Rex.

Dude, I was cutting you some slack, and besides all the clever things I was going to say in this thread had already been said, but now I no longer can control myself. Really, how to respond to the question?

Once, at a party one of my wife's coworkers had. I had been out to dinners with her coworkers, etc, before, so I wasn't a stranger. Said coworker was rather inebriated, and tried to check out under the kilt.

Duuuude,
I get #4, I really do, but in searching I have to read about what boots or socks to wear "under" the kilt, I have to fumble through thread after thread reading alll sorts of stuff that does not answer the questions I am asking just to find one nugget of real answer.
I am not saying anyone's previous posts are anything but brilliant, but they do not answer the questions I have posed very often. I am sure there are many who have the same questions I have and would love to get the answers some more sage members like yourself have, without the hours of searching to find them.
If it bothers you for me to ask the questions, or bothers you for others to answer them then I am sorry. I have searched though, and for those who do not mind the repitition please feel free to answer the questions with your old answers, or new answers you have come up with since the last time the question was asked.
Thank you in advance for your help.
