to prevent anyone on XMTS feeling that they are somehow "left out" or "disenfranchised" when it comes to neck wear, might I suggest an XMTS tie? It should be based on equal width stripes of the lightest and darkest colours of the XMTS tartan, these stripes separated by a narrow (1/3rd the width of the wide stripe) yellow stripe (representing the XMTS plant badge).

So there you have it-- the X MARKS THE SCOT Club Tie!
