    That's starting to look more kilt-like, for sure. Whenever I've seen those to date, I don't see how the current design really works without the pleats. In the photo you've shown, there looks to a garment that would go up and down hills much easier. I think there's probably a place for a kind of kilt that's lightweight, quick-dry, and you can pack in with the rest of your gear and not have to worry about pristine pleats.

    I have one of the original designs. It doesn't work well without the pleats. The new design should be much better.
