If you have the money, why not look at Skye Highland Outfitters http://www.skyehighlandoutfitters.com

They have a great machine sewn, 8 yard(not like the 5 yard mentioned earlier) wool kilt for 299 dollars! That is better than most vendors on here. He is Norcalpiper on here. Josh is great to work with. In fact, here is a recent review of this specific kilt:

I have had every question answered and I have not even bought my kilt yet!

So basically here is what I say:

If you have the money go for the SHO 8 yard for 299. If not, B&S will work great as well.

What he said! I love my B & S kilt! That being said most kilt makers here will do fine work, and if you tell them that it is for your wedding and you have a deadline, they will work with you. I might suggest John at Keltoi (Slohairt), his stuff looks great and he is very knowelgeable. I am sure he would do you up right nice. I personally would love to have a kilt from Steve, or Rocky, or John, Josh, Barb or the guys at Sportkilt, or even my home town kilt maker Kathy Lare. Course I love Kilts!ith:
