Just my personal beliefs - yours may be different. For me, burial isolates from the universe other than body fluids drained during embalming. Cremation returns the body to the Universe to be part of the eternal cycle of atoms.
I plan to be cremated in the clothes I was born in. No way would I want to have a kilt reduced back to the elements with me. Rather would like my kilts passed on.
