...er, actually, I think these bikes (or ones very much like them) were made in India until quite recently. My guess is that the Indian-built bikes probably went out of production sometime in the 1970s.
There is an active vintage motorcycle movement in the UK, and I'd guess you could probably find an ex-service bike (BSA M20) without too much difficulty.
Hmm... it would look pretty nifty painted up in WWII Royal Navy colours... ith:
