Oh What a fuss, Oh what a palarva, Oh whatever next.
For once and for all, Belt loops are for the belt, if you wear a kilt handmade to your specific measurements, and a well made kilt at that, then no way will the belt pull your kilt out of shape, you have no need to wear the belt cinched up tight if the kilt fits properly, the belt loops merely prevents the belt riding up at the back of the kilt.
Belt Loops for belts, sporran straps don't go through as the buckles may catch on the loops and prevent the sporran from being moved to one side, a quick fiddle will soon rectify the problem though.
It's not rocket science
