I tried to go natural in our front yard….wait that didn’t come out quite right, let me start again. I suggested to my wife that we plant drought tolerant plants in our front yard that can also tolerate all of the fruitless mulberry leaves. My boys will be out of the house in a few years and I would prefer not to mow and rake. She said we need to keep the lawn for curb appeal for when we sell the house. Lawns are great when you have small kids especially if the yard is big enough for wiffle ball and such. But, now it is just a headache.

I love a front yard full of pine needles and leaves.

Besides, that crop of dandelions can be eaten, roots roasted
to make a coffee additive, and the flowers into a fine wine.

long live that yellow sea dandelions
