Hi folks, thanks for having me. I’m new to kilts and have a few questions with the first one being, what plaid is acceptable for a great kilt? The local fabric stores have a few plaids and to get things started I bought the cheapest just to practice putting it on. In the store the stuff I bought didn't look all that bad but when I got it home it started looking like a table cloth...thoughts? Any tips on picking out non-tartan plaids for the great kilt?
