    What's up with tartanweb??

What's up with tartanweb? I can't look through any of the products, they're requiring a password to look through products? did an update happen or am I just unlucky?

It seems that most of the database was wiped or something... can't find anything on the Clan or tartan search.

They must be redesigning and messing up the links a bit. Their tartan finder isn't working either. Just click on their "contact us" link to let them know.

Yeah, it's asking me for a user name and password too. I sent them an email to let them know.

It works fine for me, running Win XP Pro and Firefox. I did notice that one can register as a member. Are you a member, maybe members now have to have a user name and password. If so I would guess you should have been notified at the email address you provided when you joined.

I had the same problem yesterday, but it's back up and running for me now. Site reconfiguration, I think . . . based on the fact that the site now looks different! (I'm some sort of detective.)

I note that they seem to have a cover letter on the home page stating that all of their goods are Proudly Made In Scotland. Perhaps they wanted to make it clear that they were not selling "tartan tat" like some dealers who shall remain nameless.

They used to sell very nice, hand knit blue bonnets but I see no headwear at all, now.
