USA Kilts info
Its been awhile since I've posted. Been busy with my new family (engaged to a beautiful lass from Clan Hay on Dec. 24 and getting married Sept. 15). I was just wondering if anyone out there owns a USAK Semi-trad. in the Gordon tartan. If you do please post some pics so I can see how the finished product looks on a real person. This would be a great help with planning our wedding as I will will be representing Clan Gordon with my fiance' representing Clan Hay. Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Posting this under the USA Kilts Forum may help you get a good response.

I already went through our gallery for him. I didn't see any.
Ron (Riverkilt) may have some Gordon pics floating around...

http://s237.photobucket.com/albums/ff147/riverkilt/ He's got them sorted by make, model, and tartan: 'way cool, Ron.
Look for casual in Gordon, Red Gordon; semi-trad in dress Gordon.

Jeez you guys...go off to watch the game and miss the good stuff. You can't go wrong with a semi-trad. I've two gordon's in casual but if I had it to do over would have bought them in semi-trad instead. Just me though.
The casuals are indicated with a C, the semi-trads with an ST.
Think I have some in my X Marks albums too off my profile page.

Gordon's not on my list anymore. Got that one as a SWK, just leaves me with that leather Mach 5 and a American Heritage from you to save up for, though I keep debating PV vs Wool and then if wool which weight....
It ok to think of such things, I finally found a possible weakness on my wife.

No, I have not. I have considered USA Kilts many times, however I find their prices unreasonable. They do have some cool tartan patterns, but for the price of their 5-yard kilts I can nearly buy two kilts for the pipeband of simular quality from other venders.

I would ask 2 questions...
1. Have you inquired with us about 'pipe band pricing' for bulk orders?
2. What 'other vendors' are you referring to?
Kelly and I keep our prices in line with 'industry standards'. To say that our prices are 'unreasonable' is frankly, a bit insulting.

Andy Andy Andy....
You just gotta go look at a USA Kilts semi-trad, or any other kilt they make before deciding - unless you are into the acrylic look.
Contempt prior to investigation just ain't a wise way to shop.
I read so much good stuff about USA Kilts I thought it all had to be shill. Then after a year I finally decided to order one and check it out. Now I've owned dozens of them...can't seem to stop ordering more. And I've owned a LOT of kilts from a lot of vendors - like to think I have some experience in the area.
If it helps you any check out my photo gallery like below and there'll be pics of all my USA kilts by tartan and model.
You can have any two of price, quality, or service. Rocky and Kelley offer quality and service at a fair price. The long term value is solid.
Rocky doesn't need your business. He'll be fine without it. But please don't short yourself without checking out his work.
