I am afraid that I will miss the upcoming SEKS night, depending on the timing. I stay tuned......

Unfortunately, I live too far east to enjoy Great SEKS, but will live vicariously though this forum.

How about S.E.K.S next Saturday, March 28th at the James Joyce in Avondale Estates. The food is good, they have an outdoor patio with fire places and no smoking until after 9:00 PM. Let's meet at 7:00 PM. Contact information from the Jame Joyce website is posted below:

You know, I might have to crawl out from under my rock to attend one of these. I wonder if SWMBO will give me a pass?
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

That is the same night that Keltic Kudzu is playing at 7:30 at Get Coffee at 5336 Peachtree Road in downtown Chamblee. I think another band is playing as well.
Why don't we go there, and save James Joyce for another time?

Ya know, there is a Celtic Music festival in Dalhlonega that weekend as well. But the long-range forecast is for rain, same as last year. I'll try to make it to wherever the consensus location is on Saturday nite.
BTW, the Harp in Roswell is sponsoring another Kilt Nite on April 25. Meybe that's an option for April SEKS. And a new place opened up in Alpharetta called Durty Kelly's. The owner is a former cop who has lived in Scotland, and the pub is supposed to have a wide selection of scotches. I'll have to give it a scout out.

Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

SEKS Kilt Night, at Chamblee Celtic Fling, Sat. March 28th.
I checked the website for the Chamblee Celtic Fling, it is sponsored by the city's Arts Alliance. Keltic Kudzu is part of the entertainment at Get Coffee. According to the website http://www.celticatlanta.com/ there is an entrance fee of $20.00. I am not clear if you can attend the Keltic Kudzu concert without getting into the overall event.
It sounds like fun. Let's pick a place to meet in Chamblee and attend the Chamblee Celtic Fling. Chamblee is on the MARTA System too; making it a bit more convenient.
