Scary Halloween Costume

I once attended a Halloween party right after work so I was wearing a suit and tie and carrying a brief case. When I was asked why I wasn't wearing a costume, I told them I dressed as the scariest thing you could imagine... an IRS auditor. Now, show me your books. Both sets. lol

Mark Twain once reported that he won a "Sweetest Words in the English Language" contest with the entry "Not Guilty."

He lived before there was an Internal Revenue Service ("Service"?). Nowadays the winning entry would be something along the lines of "Correct as filed."
