A Supportive Wife
Folks, I just wanted to share an experience concerning this past Saturday . My wife and I had planned to attend the Jackson's Mill Arts and Crafts Show near Weston, W.V. That morning I informed my wife that I was going to wear my kilt to the show. I don't get the opportunity to wear my kilt as often as I'd like, so I wasn't certain of her reaction. She turned towards me and said " Cool, which kilt are you going to wear, your clan kilt or your new Black Watch." I chose my new Black Watch. Well, when I tried to get dressed, my wife took down my kilt and insisted on dressing me. That was a first! I was surprised as I watched her correctly strap on my kilt, and put on my hose and garters. She smiled and told me that she had studied up on Scottish dress, and even wants to make make a utility kilt for me. Boy, was I surprised! All that day I felt proud having a wife who loved to see me in a kilt, and show such an interest. Sorry to ramble, but I am a lucky man.
