    first Xkilt

well today i got almost 6 yards of material for my first Xkilt in the MarPat digital (Disclamer!... i am not nor have ever been a marine and this pattern has no eagle globe and anchor) i liked it over the other choices of camo so we shall see how it turns out since my first try was an epic fail (this was before i found the Xkilt design)... we shall see

my first xkilt was made from a boat canvas cover and came out great!
Alans directions are so good you shouldn't have any trouble as long as you have a table or floor to lay it out on.

If the left-hand edge of the under apron is showing beneath the hem of the over apron, it's a very easy fix to taper that "under" hem. Barb T talks about doing it on full-blown trad kilts in this thread.
