Canmore Highland Games 2011 Part 5

So because Canmore is the last games of the season sometimes deals can be found that weren't there in Calgary.

I found these kilt hose for $82 in Calgary and they were half price in Canmore! I'm toying with the idea of dying them.

The name of the nice lady who made the hose.

Then there was this beautiful jacket also half price at a $188. It just happened to be in my size. I had to buy it!!!

Hope you enjoyed these pictures too. If anyone ever decides to come up this way make sure you do it during this weekend.

All the bands wearing kilts pleated to the line/stripe! I like it!

That is a very lovely jacket, by a very good maker, at a great price. You lucky dog!

    Thanks for the pics! Richard

If you ever feel the need to unload the Jacket and vest, be sure to drop me a line, it just so happens to be my size as well

Yes very nice jacket and I like the little chain. Was toying with one on my black argyle using a bit of spare sporran chain but it did not look right. I would like to see it worn with the chain in place.

I'm glad to hear that it is a good maker. I had to make a quick decision on it.

Some good shots of the massed pipe bands - very impressive.

Yes. I don't know why I didn't think of that at the time. Needless to say this will certainly not let me forget for next time.
