    OK, an explanation is due to those who don't have sea legs.
    When you navigate between buoys, you keep red on the right and green on the left. Oncoming ships will appear to have their red lantern on the right, and green on the left. Etc etc etc. Pleats in the rear and apron on the front.

    Comes from the old memory gouge: "Right Returning Red." (You keep the red bouy to your right or starbord side when coming into the harbour. On the way out, it is green to green. The way to remember red or green is that "Red is like Port Wine and should be Left alone" There are lots more, but that would be hijacking the thread.
