    Another Kiltie joins the Rabble!

    Another recruit!

Last Christmas the lovely Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess and I gave her father a Stillwater Standard Hunting McLeod Kilt. He contacted Jerry and purchased some accessories to complete his outfit and rented a jacket to attend a Burns’ night supper . Well John and his wife came to California for a visit and we insisted he bring his new finery with him. The F-H.C.A.G lent his bride Candace her new Sport Kilt Hunter tartan kilted skirt for an excursion to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This was only the second time he has worn his kilt and he did it well.

John was a little taken aback with the attention he received. He found it very amusing that two ladies approached him to ask how he was enjoying his visit to the US. He seemed to enjoy himself and we all thought he looked very distinguished in his kilt. This Christmas it will be my Dad’s turn as we will be getting him properly attired for our upcoming Nor-Cal Rabble Burns’ Night Supper.

    Here are a few picture.

The whole family in their finery:

(The F-H.C.A.G. took this picture in the Moon Jelly Gallery. It may not be the best kilt picture but I thought it was a neat arty photo)

We weren’t the only men in un-bifurbricated garments! This fellow was sporting a Mountain Kilt.

    Cheers

Super pics, Jamie, it's really great to see you getting your father-in-law into kilting.
Encouraging also that you spotted a mountain kilt; proof that kilts are becoming more fashionable.

That is great Jamie, I like the silhouette shot, not too sure if I would wear a Mountain kilt though, one pleat across the back just is not enough for me. I think it is just marvelous that you are recruiting more of your family, thanks for the pictures.
