well ..not victory, but the Icelandic team-handball team got the silver at the Olympics! It wouldn't be considered news but for a country with only the population of 310,000, its a great achivement! In fact the team is 0,05 % of the country's population! Anyway...I wanted to ask you what YOU were happy about the 2008 Summer Olympics?

Rhonda Rousey took Bronze in Judo (under 70 kilo division) for the US. Woohoo. Judo medals for the US have been very Rare and Rhonda is a great representative for the Judo community. That's what made me happy.

GB did the best it has ever done too!

I bet Iceland is better at winter olympics though as apart from a couple of ice skating successes and a curling stones one we haven't done very well there!
