Not that I'm in their class at all, but...
Kilt has slipped and appears to be too long, cream socks, yellow garder ties, ankle high boots and my knee brace doesn't match at all!![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
WHAT was I thinking?

Isn't that a great shot? If only he'd been Scottish.
Of course, he's an American, and Americans do this Scottish Games thing all "wrong". His nickname is the "Jewish Viking". I'm totally serious about that,,,Sam the Jewish Viking..
And he's wearing white socks, which just proves the point.

Francis Brebner...world record holder in the weights for distance. If I'm lucky, I'll go 50 feet this weekend. JGorley here on X Marks is really good...he's a 62-65 foot light weight thrower.
Francis' world record is 94 feet. If only he'd not been wearing white socks. Oh, Francis lives in Los Angeles now but he's from Scotland.

Francis at the Stone
![](http://www.nasgaweb.com/gallery/images/fb_stone.jpg)
Alistair Gunn...pound for pound probably the best Highland Athlete of the last 100 years. He's from Scotland. Pity about the socks.

I'd post a picture of myself, sartorial disaster that I am, but I think I've made my point, and besides, I'm from California.

Yeah I know. .... I'm just teasing, and I'm on a roll today. It's a slow day at work. No worries, BoldHighlander!
Maybe some folks will see this and "get it". It's only very peripherally, *very* peripherally... about white socks. Hopefully people will figure that out. I can but hope.
