And guys, remember to have time specific goals for things like weight loss. If you just generically talk about loosing the weight most people have the tendancy to get the, "I'll start tomorrows" and time drags on with no real commitement. My goals are very time specific (two months till the race) and that keeps me focused and trying hard when I'd rather not.
Stay focused! It's gonna be awsome!
Hugh
OK, my target date for losing the first 15 is July 31. For the remaining 10, I'll go for August 31. My program will be the one I have used in the past for my routine exercise of weights 3X a week and aerobics two days, plus an additional third day of aerobics. That should do it.

Exercise Program:
I signed up for a half marathon training program at the beginning of June.
I gained the weight after stop running last year. after finishing training for my first half-marathon. I am finding it obviously harder to do the training this year with the extra weight and not doing any exercise since November 2010.
Progress:
I did a 5k race two weeks ago and did similar time to what I was doing 3 years ago.
Next steps:
Continue with adding distance for the 13.1 miles goal and start some cross training (barbells).
I think these are modest goals that can be acheieved if I eat healthy after my runs. I tend to eat junk food then.
Sweet! You are on your way!

Those who are so inclined, pray for me. Tonights workout is going to be rough. Tired. Don't wanna. Gonna do it anyway.
Doin' my best and forgettin' the rest,

Congrats...
For those of you who are watching your food as well as your fitness...
There is a free program called Cron-o-meter. It was designed for the people that follow the "Calorie Restriction, Optimum Nutrition" people (life extension folks that fast to slow metabolic processes). Anyway, I eat 3k calories a day so not a "CRON" guy, but the program makes a fantastic food log, as well as a place where you can chart your weight, blood pressure (if you've got a cuff at home) even down to your omega 6's, minerals, vitamins, etc...
